How therapy works
You can learn to regulate your body and brain’s reactions.
You are not alone. The world today is full of people who feel stressed and overwhelmed. This state is taxing emotionally, psychologically and physically.
Anxiety is frequently caused by a part of the brain that causes another part to go offline. This results in a lack of ability to think through the feeling.
Instead, you are left with what can be a debilitating cycle of increasing worry and physical symptoms such as fast heart rate, difficulty breathing and sensations of tightness.
I use both techniques and strategies to help you learn to slow your body and brain down so that you can use your ability to think again.
Therapy for anxiety can help you…
Feel calm and relaxed
Regulate your emotions
Be more present to yourself and others
Improve your ability to show up when you want to
Understand the how and why your anxiety is getting in the way of your goals
